1. Data Controller
MiOracion.com is operated by CLOUDPAGE LLC, 1825 Ponce de Leon Blvd. #320, Coral Gables, FL 33134, USA. For any privacy or data protection inquiries, contact: info@cloudpage.us.
2. Data We Collect
We collect only the data necessary for the operation of the service:
- Account data: email address and name when you register.
- Site activity: favorite prayers, reading history, candle intentions, novena progress.
- Donations: amount, date and transaction ID. We do not store credit or debit card data — payments are processed entirely by Stripe.
- Local technical data: language preference, visual theme (light/dark), font size and TTS voice preferences, stored exclusively in your browser's local storage.
Despite the spiritual nature of the site, we do not collect sensitive data as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or other applicable laws. Prayer intentions and devotional preferences are not considered sensitive data in the context of this service.
3. Legal Basis and Purpose of Processing
We process your personal data under the following legal bases:
- Consent: by registering and accepting this policy.
- Legitimate interest: to improve the service, generate anonymous aggregate statistics, and ensure site security.
- Service performance: to display your saved prayers, maintain your progress, and process donations.
The purposes of processing are:
- To provide, maintain and improve the community service.
- To communicate with you when you request it (contact, support).
- To generate anonymous, aggregated internal statistics.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Automated Processing and Artificial Intelligence
We use automated systems and artificial intelligence for the following functionalities:
- Voice synthesis (TTS): Microsoft Azure Edge TTS generates audio of prayers. No personal user data is sent to this service beyond the text of the requested prayer.
- Content translation and curation: AI systems assist in translating and organizing devotional content.
We do not use users' personal data to train artificial intelligence models. Automated processing is limited to site content and does not involve automated decision-making that produces legal effects on users.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We share limited data with the following service providers, solely for the purposes described:
- Stripe, Inc. (USA) — donation processing. Amount, currency and transaction ID are shared. Stripe has its own privacy policy and PCI DSS certification.
- Microsoft Azure (Edge TTS) (USA) — voice synthesis. Prayer text is sent to generate audio. No user data is shared.
- Supabase (database and authentication provider) — storage of account and activity data.
- Hosting provider (USA) — server infrastructure.
Each third party processes data in accordance with its own privacy policies and terms of service. We do not authorize these third parties to use your data for purposes other than those contracted.
6. Cookies and Local Storage
We use technical cookies and browser local storage (localStorage) exclusively for:
- Maintaining authenticated user sessions.
- Remembering user preferences (language, visual theme, font size, TTS voice).
- Storing temporary reading progress.
We do not use tracking cookies, third-party advertising cookies, or cross-site tracking mechanisms. Users may delete local storage and cookies at any time through their browser settings. Disabling technical cookies may affect site functionality.
7. International Data Transfers
CLOUDPAGE LLC operates from the United States. Personal data is stored and processed on servers located in the United States. When data is transferred to third-party providers, they comply with applicable international transfer frameworks (including EU Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable). By using the site, the user consents to the transfer of their data to the United States.
